Oil Works Lube & State Inspection Center

Great service here!! Usually you go to an auto shop and wait and wait and wait wondering if your car is being seen yet. The woman who helped me today was so nice and kept updating those of us waiting in the lobby while work was being done. Reasonable pricing too. I’ll be back next time I need service!

I had my State Inspection done here. The employees are very friendly and super quick. I was in and out in 20 min. Also, waiting room is air conditioned, which is a plus!

My partner recommended me to them, hear me out… they were courteous, quick, great service, and honest. I’m like the easiest auto shop I’ve visited. If you need oil change, filters, inspection, I was in an out in 20mins max and on with my day. I’ll be referring and I’ll be back with anything services they provide.

Probably the best experience I’ve had at a mechanic in Austin! Went on a Saturday morning, finished within 20-30 mins for a brake flush, oil change AND emissions test.. I’ve never had a car service that was that efficient, even with somewhere that’s 2x the price. Great staff, never tried to push any services that weren’t needed. Highly recommend, will now be my go-to spot!

Horrible service. When I took my vehicle in, it had no leaks. Now there is oil everywhere. They are trying to say it was previous and nothing they can/will do. but I would know as there wasn’t oil all over my driveway before and now it’s spraying everywhere. This place has gone to hell since Gene Johnson sold it.
